New Quay 5 v 1 Lampeter

New Quay turned in an excellent performance to deservedly defeat Lampeter in the Cwpan Ceredigion final at Newcastle Emlyn.

After an even opening the Seasiders stamped their authority on the game with a headed goal apiece for Jason Thomas and Charlie Dent in the last twelve minutes of the first half.

In the second period Dent added a second before David Evans and Mathew Mousley completed the rout. Sam Gudgeon netted Lampeter's sole reply.
